Expansion
Pinetop-Lakeside residents have been dreaming about securing Woodland Lake Park for future generations for some time. Fortunately, benefactors stepped up to purchase the first 107 aces for the town from the National Forest Service. Potential donors are considering underwriting the 400+ acre expansion for all White Mountains residents and visitors to enjoy. With even greater community support to maintain the 400+ acres, the dream of preserving Woodland Lake Park for future generations may come to fruition in the near future.
Save Our Park and the Town of Pinetop-Lakeside are working side by side with the family and the National Forest Service to realize the opportunity to expand Woodland Lake Park. The expansion would bring more recreational opportunities for residents, support regional tourism, and enhance the local economy and quality of life.
